Friends of Hospice relies on the generosity of individuals, businesses, organizations, and foundations to help us provide continuing support for the Hospice program in Jefferson County. This funding comes through:
- Gifts/memorials
- Grants/contributions
- Making Friends of Hospice of Jefferson County part of your estate plan
- “ A Taste of Elegance ” - annual benefit sponsored by Friends of Hospice of Jefferson County
What Your Support of Friends of Hospice Means
- Special patient medications not covered by Medicare, Medicaid or personal insurance will be paid for, thereby removing the burden from the patient or their family.
- Supplies used by Hospice nurses in caring for their patients will be covered.
- Educational materials related to Hospice and to end-of-life issues will be provided.
- Ongoing training for the Hospice nurses and other staff and volunteers is assured.
